This Astilbe (A) 'Fanal', also known as the 'False Goat's beard', has bright red, panicle-shaped flowers. It flowers in July and August. The height of growth is about 50 to 60 cm and it prefers a site with partial shade or shade. This plant can be combined excellently with trees or shrubs. As a bedding plant, however, it prefers a slightly warmer spot with moist soil. This daisy is deciduous. The leaves of the astilbe turn from dark green to green with red accents during the summer.
