Summer Drummer has a unique colour combination – red, violet and white. This gorgeous allium attracts the most attention because it shows up when most of other flowers are at the end of their season. Summer Drummer starts blooming between July and August and grows tall and proud (130-180 cm).

Allium belongs to the same family as garlic and onion, that is why it’s called an “ornamental onion”. Make sure to plant your allium in a dry and well-drained (sandy) soil and open areas with full sun.

Other information

  • First loosen the soil well where the allium bulbs will be planted. Then the soil is easier to work with.
  • Dig a hole and make sure it is 2 to 3 times as deep as the height of the bulbs.
  • For the distance between the bulbs, make sure it is 2 times the diameter of the bulbs.
  • Plant the flower bulbs in the hole with the pointed side facing up or with the root base facing down.
  • Cover the allium bulbs with soil and water them well.

Pre-orders can be placed up to the first of August, which will be shipped in the first half of September and delivered latest by October.
