Narcissus Dick Wilden
Narcissus Dick Wilden is a creative version of the classic yellow narcissus. This yellow double Daffodil has basic-looking petals that grow from the stem, but in the centre, instead of the trumpet you’ll see more petals elegantly twisted and frilled resembling a rose! The petals inside the petals – SPECTACULAR! Dick Wilden looks incredible in combination with other daffodils, such as Mount Hood that has an oversized white trumpet.
The double narcissus group is well known for having extra petals (in some cases even extra trumpets), and it has a wide range or different shapes and colours. The bulbs can be planted in the pots, containers, at the borders, in the parks and gardens. Narcissus can quickly multiply and last for many more years to come!
Greek mythology says that there were handsome young men and beautiful young women, who were obsessed with admiring their own beauty that their personalities turned out to be very self-centered and narcissistic. As a result, the gods transformed them into the beautiful narcissus flowers.
