This Persian buttercup (Ranunculus asiaticus ‘Aviv’) has full layered flowers that look like orange roses. This species is very strong, can be planted in a sunny spot and their sturdy stem makes them ideal for cut flower use. Plant the orange buttercup in a pot or a vase and combine them with other cut flowers in shades of orange and purple. When planted in spring ranunculus will flower in summer and when planted in autumn they will flower starting from the end of April.

Other information

• Choose a sunny but sheltered spot in a border or in a pot. • Soak the tubers for 3 to 10 hours, preferably overnight. • Plant the tubers with their "claw" down, about 3 to 5 cm deep and water immediately. • Make sure the soil around the ranunculus remains moist and continue to water throughout the growing season if the soil begins to become dry.

Pre-orders can be placed up to the first of August, which will be shipped in the first half of September and delivered latest by October.
