This Astilbe (A) 'Fanal', also known as the 'False Goat's beard', has bright red, panicle-shaped flowers. It flowers in July and August. The height of growth is about 50 to 60 cm and it prefers a site with partial shade or shade. This plant can be combined excellently with trees or shrubs. As a bedding plant, however, it prefers a slightly warmer spot with moist soil. This daisy is deciduous. The leaves of the astilbe turn from dark green to green with red accents during the summer. This perennial is hardy and attracts many butterflies and bees. Enjoy this plant in your garden with its feathery bright red flower corollas.
