WARNING! This tulip will conquer your garden! As you might already know, the tulip got its name after the main character from the book “The Ingenious Nobleman Sir Quixote of La Mancha” by Cervantes. Don Quichotte has the prettiest fuchsia pink colour there is! If the bulb is well protected from a severe frost, it can bloom again in many years to follow. With its proud height (50 cm), Don Quichotte looks incredible as a cut flower or in an arrangement.

Originally, Don Quichotte belongs to the Triumph tulip group, which is a crossbreed between early and late varieties, and are well-known for their sturdy stems and fantastic colour combinations. The flowers bloom in the mid-late spring and are suitable for every park and garden. Tulip Don Quichotte will never disappoint you!

  • First loosen the soil well where the flower bulbs will be planted. Then the soil is easier to work with.
  • Dig a hole and make sure it is 2 to 3 times as deep as the height of the tulip bulbs.
  • For the distance between the bulbs, make sure it is 2 times the diameter of the bulbs.
  • Plant the flower bulbs in the hole with the pointed side facing up or with the root base facing down.
  • Cover the tulip bulbs with soil and water them well.

Pre-orders can be placed up to the first of August, which will be shipped in the first half of September and delivered latest by October.
